As the title indicates, I am a technical staff member in the Power Workshop, responsible for electrical systems, instrumentation, water treatment facilities, and air separation units. The old factory site is facing relocation, and the company has asked our department to prepare a detailed relocation plan within the scope of our responsibilities. I have not been working here for long, so I don’t have much knowledge regarding such documents. I would be extremely grateful if anyone could offer some guidance. It would be great if there are any existing construction plans or relocation plans (focused on instrumentation, as well as electrical systems, water treatment facilities, and air separation units). How many years old is the device? What type of device is it? Requirements are very high these days; valves need to be over 10 years old, depending on their condition. Instrument transmitters and flow meters can still be used. Do not use SIS system signals; reconnect the electrical connections. The cost of removing old components is higher than that of installing new ones (it depends on how you handle the cables, but it’s best to make use of what’s already there).
The relocation plan, as I understand it, refers to the sequence of disassembly and assembly, the establishment of procedures, determining what can be taken apart and what cannot (to avoid things falling apart), and how much new material is needed if certain components cannot be removed; What in the new place can be replaced with the old one? ; Whether the new location is the same as the original design affects the material calculations for cables and cable trays.
