Can Ba-type flow meters be installed on vertical pipelines?

At the project site, a Ba-type flow meter was found to be installed on a vertical pipeline, with water as the fluid flowing from top to bottom. Upon consulting the design institute, it was confirmed that such installation is permissible. . . But can the weight of this liquid medium itself cause significant measurement errors? I think if it’s dressed up like this, isn’t this watch ruined?
It can be installed vertically. But try to let it flow from bottom to top. Otherwise, the error caused by gravity will increase.

Bar-type flowmeters are generally used for measuring the flow of fluids in large-diameter pipelines; is it that difficult to select a horizontal section of pipeline? If the medium is a gas, there should be no major problems, but when the medium is liquid water, issues such as full pipes, bubbles, turbulence, and water drops arise – how should these be dealt with? It’s better to find a pipeline of decent quality.
The issue with the measurements is the manufacturer’s problem; as long as you point out that it should be installed vertically, they will eliminate that error
