I would like to ask everyone: are there any regulatory requirements regarding whether the sides of trough-type cable trays should be single-layer or double-layer?
Make the sides double-layered? Why, do you think it’s not sturdy enough? There’s no need for that; you just need to specify the thickness. You’re not suggesting adding partitions, right? Those are used for shielding purposes, but it can’t be called a double layer either

What you’re referring to is a double-tiered cable tray; it has two layers on each side. It’s commonly used for large spans (starting from 6 meters) or wide applications with a width of over 600 millimeters. If the cable tray contains few cables, it’s not necessary to use such a design; adding a few more supports will suffice. Double-ladder edge cable trays are more expensive.
Double-glazed windows are very common; they come in plastic-steel and aluminum with broken bridge designs, and double-glazed windows are generally used in the Northeast region.

Is this what is commonly referred to as a reinforced ladder-type cable tray? Trunking types are not used very often, right?
