The AC power supply lines for armored instruments and the signal lines of those instruments are laid in the same cable tray – is it necessary to use a partition to separate them? When armored instrument signal wires and armored compensation wires are laid in the same cable tray, is it necessary to use a partition to separate them?
Cables of different voltage levels must be separated, and different types of signal lines are preferably separated as well.
When power cables and signal cables are laid in the same trunking, a partition must be placed in the middle of the trunking to reduce interference； The instrument signal wires and compensation wires can be placed in the same junction box, without the need for a partition in between
This post was last edited by EisN on 2021-10-23 at 11:02. Cables of different voltage levels must be separated, and intrinsically safe cables must be separated from non-intrinsically safe cables. GB50093 can be referred to; however, in standard construction practices, if the design office does not specify cable trays with partitions, the cables are usually placed together (as long as they are not placed alongside high-voltage cables). Generally, there is no major problem as long as it goes unnoticed by professionals. Proper grounding of the steel armor and shielding also usually has no significant impact.
