I use two flanges to connect them together and then apply pressure with a pressurization device; I compare the readings with standard gauges and transmitters. Is there any better device available?
Double flange methods actually cannot achieve absolute accuracy, as there is a variable in the measurement of liquid level, namely ρgh. The value of g can be determined by measuring it locally; as for ρ, it generally changes, so it’s best to have a laboratory take samples for measurement. There is another variable as well, namely the silicone oil filling the capillary, which is affected by temperature – this too constitutes an element of uncertainty. Measurement is only a relatively accurate value; there is nothing absolute. You conduct tests in the laboratory, provided that you set the range precisely; however, the range for this pressure difference can itself be incorrect
