When you need to use concentration measuring instruments in your factory, what do you usually think of? Conductivity meter, density meter, refractometer, spectrometer...etc? There is also a measurement principle analyzer that can make up for the shortcomings of the above measurement methods - ultrasonic concentration meter. What is an online ultrasonic concentration meter? As the name suggests, the online ultrasonic concentration meter measures liquid concentration based on the principle of ultrasonic waves. Because different types and concentrations of liquids have different ultrasonic sound velocities. Therefore, the corresponding liquid concentration can be obtained by measuring the ultrasonic signal of the liquid. The ultrasonic signal is sent from the transmitter through the liquid (medium) to the receiver. In this process, the distance s between the transmitter and the receiver is equal, so the time t for different sound speeds to reach the receiver is different. The speed of sound can be found by measuring the time it takes to travel from the generator to the receiver. V=s/t (as shown in the figure below) The figure below shows the concentration-sound velocity diagram of liquids of different types and concentrations.: Currently, the manufacturer of online ultrasonic concentration analyzers that can use ultrasonic principles for concentration measurement includes the German SensoTech company (WeChat ID: SensoTech Shenshuo Technology).
