I have a question regarding the diaphragm box of differential pressure transmitters equipped with capillaries: in some cases, the flange is integrated with the diaphragm box, and I understand that. Some have a single diaphragm box, which is held in place during installation using two flanges. Why is this done?

The part you’re referring to is the diaphragm body, right?
No reason, it’s a manufacturer feature. Commonly, Emerson (Rosemount) models come with flanges, while Yokogawa (EJA) models are available both with and without flanges. As for the reason, it hasn’t been studied; wait for the experienced workers to answer you. I think it’s just because of the different prices.
