Issues related to the pairing of thermocouples and bases

I earnestly ask the experts for their guidance. As shown in the diagram, the boiler plant has pre-allocated base interfaces on the header. For a thermocouple connected via tapered protective tube threads and welded to this base, what size of thread should be chosen? M27x2 or 33x3? How long should a thermocouple be? x2

What’s shown in this diagram is a welded connection; as you said, the sleeve needs to be welded to the base, so of course a welded sleeve should be used! The connection between the sleeve and the temperature sensing element can follow the manufacturer’s standards, or a design that facilitates future replacement can be chosen!
You can go and take a look on site. From what I can see in this diagram, it seems that a M27*2 protrusion also needs to be welded there. If this is part of the selection process, then attention should be paid to calculating the total length of the thermocouple
