The chemical engineering specifications state that on-site cabinet rooms should include areas for cabinets, engineer stations, UPS units, air conditioning rooms, etc. My colleagues, what is the common practice in this regard?
For medium and large-scale centralized control systems, it is best to have them set up separately; smaller systems do not necessarily require separate setup. Hazardous chemical enterprises must follow the relevant regulations when setting up such systems, otherwise they will not pass the inspection
The engineer station for small-scale installations can also be used as an operator station (operation permissions can be set up for control), but large and medium-sized enterprises should have separate engineer stations (in a dedicated room), which can only be used by instrument engineers or authorized personnel for configuration and management.
