In HG 21581-2010, why are the connection methods for PN63 and PN160 different in the diagrams showing the gas pressure pipeline connections (is a top exhaust valve required for high pressure)? As shown in the figure below
Before performing inspections on high-temperature and high-pressure instruments, it is necessary to safely vent the pressure; for low-pressure media with ordinary properties, venting can be done at the thread plug on the instrument’s gauge. For safety reasons, there is a vent pipe connected to a vent valve located between the primary valve and the secondary valve

It’s just a vent for purging and calibration purposes
During deactivation, close the root valve and slowly open the release valve. If it contains steam, special care must be taken to release it slowly.
