For the P+F safety gate KCD2-SR-Ex1.LB, the dial switch S3 should be a line detection switch. When the feedback switch on site is of the dry contact type, does it function when S3 is set to position I?
When the on-site feedback switch is of the dry contact type, setting the DIP switch S3 to position I can enable the line fault detection function. In this case, the safety barrier will monitor the line status of the field feedback switch. If a break or short circuit occurs in the circuit, the safety barrier will detect the abnormal current and trigger the corresponding fault alarm or protection action.
