Taken over the company’s DCS, FOXBORO I/A’s 8, Windows XP. The maintenance staff went through several people but couldn’t find the I/A’s disk. The hard drive of the WP3002 control station is damaged; I tried to clone the hard drive from WP3003, changed the computer name and network IP address offline, connected it to the network and turned it on, but there was still a conflict with WP3003 – all the data on WP3003 was lost. Could those who are familiar with I/A’s please give some advice? Is this approach viable? How should it be done? Thank you!

Since the software is the same, as long as you still have the backup disk, you can obtain a copy of the software from the manufacturer or elsewhere and install it. Installing it on the operation station is also simple.
Was the name changed in the environment file?
