Hello everyone, how would it be to install a single-flange level gauge at the location shown in the diagram? What type of level gauge can be used to measure accurately under the operating conditions of a negative pressure system? Thank you
This is supposed to use the upper and lower flanges to transmit pressure signals to the differential pressure transmitter, which then outputs the signal for display. . . . . . I’m not sure what your on-site requirements are, or why a single-flange measurement signal is needed. It can also be attached to the lower flange; the height needs to be calculated based on the density of the medium being measured, which is troublesome. . . . . . There are many measuring instruments to choose from.
For negative pressure systems with a limited range, a float ball is a good choice; at the very least, double flanges should be used
The key is the negative pressure system, and the negative pressure is quite high; once that pressure is applied, the level gauge stops showing any readings. Could you help determine whether it’s possible to measure the liquid level (pressure) at the location where the single-flange installation is situated?

Are you in design or technical improvement? This shouldn’t be a problem...... It doesn’t seem to have much to do with height; it’s simply data comparing the gas phase pressure signal above the liquid level with the pressure signal at the bottom of the liquid level.

A pressure gauge will do, but it requires calculation, and the accuracy isn’t very high. It’s better to find a way to connect the differential pressure transmitter to a digital display instrument or similar for measurement.
Double flanges can cause deformation in negative pressure diaphragm gauges.
