There are no clear requirements in national or industry standards regarding the temperature and humidity to which control system cards and modules should be stored. The temperature and humidity requirements for storing control system cards and modules are specified in the manufacturer’s technical manual. Generally, temperatures between -5 and 40°C, along with protection from light and a dry environment, are sufficient to meet the requirements of most devices. For the cards and modules that are stored, it is advisable to place them in the operating environment for a while before use, and then power them on once the temperature there is similar to that of the operating environment. Especially for devices taken out of colder environments, the packaging must be opened only after the temperature matches that of the operating environment, in order to prevent condensation from forming on the device’s surface. . .
