The transmitter of the flow meter is broken and needs to be replaced. How do I set the flow rate corresponding to the pressure difference? Should it be set on the DCS or via a manual operator?
The simplest way is to change the differential pressure of the new transmitter to that of the old transmitter using the handheld operator
It’s just the transmitter that’s broken; it’s sufficient to calibrate the transmitter to its original range, without the need to reset the parameters.
