Hydrogen peroxide does not burn, but it acts as a strong oxidizer; therefore, gas detectors for flammable gases and oxygen concentration monitors should be installed. When the oxygen concentration is higher than the average level in the atmosphere, some substances that are normally not flammable may become flammable.
I can understand oxygen measurement, but what exactly are combustible gases? What is the basis for the testing? Is the hydrogen peroxide production facility classified as Category A, or are the storage tanks classified as Category A?
Depending on the location of the factory or workshop, assess potential gas leaks in the surrounding area, and select appropriate detection probes for organic or inorganic flammable substances. Hydrogen peroxide does not burn, but don’t combustible materials that come from elsewhere either?
Refer to the oxygen detector settings; an electrochemical type is used. I think it’s best to place them as close as possible to the source of release. If the area is small, one can refer to the placement methods for toxic gas detectors; if the area is large, then the placement methods for flammable and toxic gas detectors can be used as a reference
