A flow current analyzer is used for continuously measuring the charge on tiny suspended particles and colloids present in liquids. Through electronic signal processing, the measured charge values are converted into AC signals or flow currents (SC); this flow current value is proportional to the charge density. The degree of charging depends on the excess positive and negative charges in the water after flocculation. By detecting changes in the flow current (SC) value, it is possible to quickly respond to changes in the properties of the water, such as color and turbidity, allowing operators to adjust the dosage of flocculants accordingly. The Flumsys 10SC flow current analyzer can be equipped with a preprocessing system, which ensures long-term trouble-free operation of the instrument. It features continuous measurement, automatic cleaning, and PID control functions, and can be connected to existing dosing systems to enable automatic dosing control. The amount of flocculant will be automatically adjusted according to the changes in the properties of the water.
