The oil level in the engine unit’s oil station is monitored using a top-mounted system, eliminating the need for any openings. Which measuring instrument is good? Remote continuous measurement – reed switches, done!
It seems that magnetoelectric effect is used in most cases
It is a submersible level gauge that uses the hydrostatic principle for measurement; it is easy to install and operates reliably.
For oils that are thick or have solid particles, an immersion type level gauge will suffice; it is cost-effective and has a decent service life
