What do the velocity output action and POSITIONAL output action mean in the OUTPUT details of the cs3000 PID function block, and how are they defined?

There are two types of PID: one is the incremental type with velocity output action, and the other is the positional type with POSITIONAL output action. Incremental type: The PID only outputs the incremental part of the control amount; if the field actuator does not have an accumulation function, an additional accumulation mechanism must be configured. Its feature is precise control. Position type: The PID output provides the complete control amount. Most PID controllers are position-type, with incremental types being used less frequently; for example, servo control makes use of incremental PID controllers.
