In many engineering projects, control valves are often treated as points without volume, assuming that they take up no space; this oversight often leads to numerous modifications. There are 3 things to note when installing valves: 1. Installation location—height is important ; The relative height should not exceed 2 meters, to facilitate installation, debugging, and maintenance. 2. Installation posture—direction is important ; The valves should be oriented toward the corridor to facilitate maintenance; especially in symmetric designs, half of the valves must be installed in the opposite direction. Process engineers need to discuss this matter with procurement engineers. For vertically installed valves, their associated accessories must be rotated 90 degrees vertically, while for horizontally installed valves, accessories such as electrical valve positioners and solenoids must be rotated 180 degrees horizontally, to ease installation, adjustment, and maintenance. 3. Installation volume—space is important ; 0.3 meters of maintenance space should be left around a valve in all directions: above, below, in front, behind, and to the sides. Don’t forget that valves also come with feedback components, air supply components, and various other accessories; they take up considerable space. Don’t treat control valves as mere ordinary devices. Automatic control instruments
Valve installation is a very complex and important task, but it is often overlooked, which leads to a series of problems. Therefore, when installing valves, special attention should be paid to the following points: first, correctly identifying the function of the valve ; Second, check the quality and position of the valves ; Third, ensure that the dimensions of the pipelines are correct ; Fourth, install the valve correctly ; Fifth, check whether there are any omissions in the installation ; Sixth, after installation is complete, check all components and connections again ; Seventh is to conduct regular inspections and maintenance after installation. Finally, before installing the valve, it is necessary to ensure that all components are in good condition. By following the above steps, it is possible to ensure that the valve is installed correctly and that the monitoring process functions properly. -
