Problems with flammable/toxic gas detectors

The on-site skid-mounted equipment is equipped with three combustible/toxic gas detectors, which are connected to the on-site PLC system built into the skid. The signals from these detectors need to be sent to the control room’s GDS. Is it possible for the PLC to generate AO signals that are sent to the GDS?

All of your answers are incorrect. The flammable and toxic gas detection system should be a standalone unit; it cannot be connected to the GDS system via PLC communication, but rather should be directly connected to the GDS in the control room.
Everyone knows that, as part of a larger system, it’s of course only the GDS that should be used. But there are always some small portable devices that come equipped with a few alarms, and safety experts insist that these should also be connected to the GDS. What do you do in such cases?
