Problems with E+H mass flow meters

The cumulative value in the E+H mass flow meter has three measurement modes: forward, reverse, and balanced bidirectional. Does anyone know exactly what is meant by balanced bidirectional? Thank you!
It’s the difference between the positive cumulative sum and the negative cumulative sum, I guess
I understand it the same way, but I haven’t done any actual measurements; I’ll give it a try when I get the chance. :)
It should be used in situations where backflow is possible
Accumulate when two-way flow occurs; there’s no need to use two flow meters.
