Prevention comes first, and life is of utmost importance. ----------------------------------------- On October 18th, the plant control system for Sinopec’s 1.2 million tons per year ethylene production facility and its associated high-end new material manufacturing complexes in Tianjin Nangang was successfully put into operation across the entire network. This marks a significant achievement by HaliTech in terms of the localization and large-scale use of core equipment in critical energy sectors, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality completion of this project. That morning, under the instructions of Peng Qianbing, the deputy general manager of Sinopec Tianjin Branch, the plant’s control system was put into operation; the control systems for units such as ethylene cracking, ethylene separation, storage and transportation systems, LLDPE, and PP were activated one after another in the control room. As the main automation system supplier for this project, HaliTech successfully completed various tasks such as system integration, factory acceptance testing, project shipment, unpacking and inspection, system power-up, and on-site acceptance testing, all before the entire plant control system was put into operation. After multiple rounds of inspections by the Nangang Ethylene Project Team, the plant’s control system is now ready for operation in a networked configuration, meeting the standards required for its deployment across the entire network. President Peng said, “Hollyland has made significant efforts and provided full cooperation in project construction, and its product quality as well as service capabilities have been highly recognized.” In the future, all participating parties must continue to work together, in line with the goals of innovative projects, profitable projects, and model projects, as well as the requirements for building safe, high-quality, and exemplary projects, in order to provide solid support for the efficient operation of the facility. ” At the subsequent coordination meeting on the project of localizing the SIS system for the Tianjin Nangang ethylene plant, HollySys provided a detailed report to the leaders and experts from Sinopec’s Materials and Equipment Department, Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., Sinopec Tianjin Branch, and other organizations regarding the progress of the MAV implementation in the Tianjin Nangang ethylene project as well as the progress of the efforts to localize the SIS system.
