In a motor with a contactor and an automatic-reset thermal relay for forward rotation control, the motor stops suddenly during operation; after some time, without any electrical switches being activated, the circuit can start up again and operate normally. When a motor stops suddenly, it is usually related to the circuit protection or control devices. Control circuit failure: Intermittent faults may exist in the control circuit, such as poor contacts or problems with the coils of relays or contactors, which prevent the motor from running continuously. The fault is repaired, or due to changes in certain external conditions such as temperature or vibration, the fault may temporarily disappear and the motor can restart.
