Explosion-proof certification

The original cable-type float switch (6.7m, 3-stage alarm) is non-explosion-proof; a recent third-party safety inspection determined that this float level switch requires explosion protection. Option 1: Replace the float switch with an explosion-proof one (this exceeds the budget, and the company’s procedures are too complicated). Option 2: Use an explosion-proof junction box to replace the wiring section of the float switch; in this case, the float switch will not have an explosion-proof certification. Could any expert help determine whether Option 2 is feasible? For float level switches with explosion-proof certification, is it necessary to certify the float part as well during the certification process?
No matter how much Plan 2 tries to place the wiring parts inside explosion-proof junction boxes, some of the wiring will still be outside those boxes; it’s impossible to achieve complete explosion protection
Option 1, I guess. . Option 2 is not feasible
Only option one remains; no one will conduct explosion-proof certification on someone else’s products.
How is it possible to separate everything in Option 2? Even His Majesty the Emperor cannot do it. A float switch doesn’t cost much at all. PS: First, figure out whether it is an explosion-proof area. PPS: Floating ball spheres do not have any explosion-proof features.
