[Reference] According to Clause 9.2.4 of the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" GB50160-2008 (2018 edition), the measuring devices for temperature, liquid level, etc., of flammable liquid storage tanks shall use armored cables or steel pipes for wiring; an electrical connection shall be established between the cable insulation or the wiring steel pipe and the tank body.
The wiring steel pipe of radar level gauges needs to be electrically connected to the tank body in the case of storage tanks for flammable liquids, whereas such a connection is not required for other types of tanks.
