According to the standards, Article 12.2.3 of the “Safety Technical Regulations for Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks” AQ 3053-2015 stipulates that storage tanks whose wall temperature needs to be controlled should be equipped with thermometers or other temperature measurement devices. Thermometers and temperature measuring instruments should be calibrated regularly. Large storage tanks equipped with steam heaters should be fitted with thermometers, and measures should be taken to prevent the liquid from overheating. Proper procedure: Enterprises should regularly calibrate the thermometers and temperature measurement devices installed on storage tanks to ensure accurate temperature readings.
