May I ask how to effectively remove iron filings from coal slurry? Please share your experience.
Magnetic force. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Mainly, the raw coal fed in needs to have its iron removed; additionally, some systems install magnetic iron removers at the outlet of the coal grinder.
Our company also uses strong magnets

Permanent magnets do have some benefits when used, but they are not very effective; currently, we are looking for ways to apply them to pipes.

We use magnets to remove iron at the weighing feeder, but the iron particles beneath the coal layer cannot be removed.
Personally, I think: could a magnetic filter be added in front of the high-pressure coal slurry pump?
Some solution should still be found during the coal transfer process; if iron leaks out in the pipes once the coal reaches the mill, it can very easily cause pipe blockages and lead to more serious accidents. One or even several magnets are installed on the belt of the coal transfer trestle; although this cannot eliminate the problem 100%, it can at least improve the situation significantly
