Recent on-site measurements showed that the temperature at the upper part of the lock hopper was around 80 degrees, while the temperature at the lower part was also approaching 80 degrees. The temperature of the slag discharger was 90 degrees, and the temperature of the circulation pump was around 100 degrees. This situation is definitely caused by internal leakage in the valves. However, on-site measurements indicated that the temperatures of both the pressure relief valve and the slag discharge valve did not change much, being only about 10 degrees higher than normal; in fact, they were around 50 degrees. It was then determined that internal leakage existed in the pressure filling valve. Further on-site measurements showed that the temperature of this pressure filling valve was similar to that of another normal lock hopper
I would like to ask where I should start checking from now.
By examining the control parameters of the gasifier, we can get an idea of the condition of its internal components; another possibility is that the rising tube has fallen off.
The issue with the rising pipe falling can basically be ruled out; now it’s just that it’s a bit difficult to determine the problem with the valve

The noise level at the site is too high; it was impossible to hear anything clearly even before. The temperature measured is a bit high – around 60 degrees – but it’s not as high as the temperature inside the tank. The normal temperature for graywater is 45 degrees. I now suspect that it’s not just one leak causing this problem, but rather several leaks working together.
On-site measurements show that the pressure relief valve has a temperature of around 56 degrees at its conical part, while the temperature around it is about 55 degrees; the temperature of the water supply valve is around 50 degrees. It’s very difficult to determine anything based on these temperature values. At first, I suspected that there was a leak inside the pressure filling valve. When listening carefully on site, no sound indicating slag collection could be heard, and the temperature at that location was around 50 degrees, with the leakage being minimal as well. It’s definitely caused by a valve leak. But now I’m not sure where to start to address this issue.

Check the process to see if the load on the gasification furnace is too high, resulting in a large amount of slag discharge Or is the amount of quench water insufficient, causing an inaccurate liquid level in the quench chamber?
I think it’s the slag that’s blocking the slag discharge opening, which prevents the slag from flowing out. The cold water at high temperature flows through the gaps in the slag into the lockhopper, and then is pumped back to the gasification furnace by the lockhopper circulation pump. In this situation, the temperature of the lockhopper rises as a result of the flow of cold water, rather than it being the slag with lower heat storage capacity. Uhm, I’ve forgotten all the physical chemistry I learned in university; I think that’s roughly what’s happening. Please give me your advice
