After taking over, a bridge was installed while the gasification furnace was in operation; the load on the gasification furnace was reduced, and high-pressure ash water was used for backwashing several times without any slag being discharged. What could be the most likely cause of this?
It is recommended that in future, when describing problems, specify the gasification type, the type of furnace, and where the problem occurs Is it the gasification grate that can’t hold the slag, or is it the lock hopper that’s blocked and can’t release the slag?

Bridge formation is usually caused by large amounts of slag; a low operating temperature leads to the appearance of numerous large pieces of slag. Taking over while building a bridge is only possible if the previous shift lowered the furnace temperature in order to reduce oxygen consumption
