Which companies are performing well in producing acid from desulfurization liquid, and which ones have excellent design?
The investment is too high (30–50 million), which isn’t worthwhile; operating costs have increased, and the sulfuric acid produced costs several thousand per ton; It is better to use reduction decomposition (10 million), as it is cheaper.
Considering the use of desulfurization waste liquid to produce sodium pyrosulfite
Currently, there are two representative processes for producing acid from ammonia-based desulfurization sulfur paste and waste liquid. The main difference between these two processes lies in the pretreatment stage: in the first process, the sulfur paste and desulfurization waste liquid are separated using a centrifuge to obtain a sulfur slurry with about 50% water content, which is then sent to an incinerator for burning to produce acid. This process involves high operating costs and generates a large amount of dilute sulfuric acid, but it requires less manual labor and features a high degree of automation; In the second method, a slurry with 50% moisture content is dried to reduce the moisture level to less than 5%, thereby producing sulfur powder, which is then burned in an incinerator. This process has lower operating costs, but the working environment at the site is not very favorable. Currently, both of these processes have been successfully put into operation, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages during operation; the key lies in how the owner makes the choice.
On the 5th floor, could you please tell me which specific companies use these two manufacturing processes?
Does anyone know how the acid production process using Shandong Jinneng desulfurization liquid is working?

The first process for producing acid by direct combustion of sulfur slurry: enterprises that have put this process into operation include Nangang Coking Plant, Tie Xiong, and Jinneng; The second type is mainly concentrated in the Tangshan area of Hebei; Jiujiang and Rongyi are already in operation, while Hong’ao and Pengfei in Xiaoyi, Shanxi are under construction
Hello, could you tell me which manufacturer made it? I’d like to learn more about it. Thank you
