What is the typical amount of steam generated as a by-product in BGL gasifiers? What is the amount of by-product steam generated by each type of gasifier?
Are you referring to the location at the raw gas outlet?
To be precise, it is not the heat recovered from cooling the raw gas, but rather the heat recovered from the furnace jacket. What I want to know is the extent to which the recovery of this heat affects the gasification process.
Check if there are any users on Haiyou who work for China Coal Tuoke or Yunjiehua; they should be more familiar with the operations. Based on my communication with BGL, it seems that the steam volume isn’t very high
The jacket pressure difference of the BGL gasifier can be positive or negative; the furnace is equipped with refractory bricks as well as water-cooled walls, so very little by-product steam is generated, approximately 1.0 t/h. The steam produced is fed into the crude gas system; The jacket pressure difference in the Luchi gasifier must be a positive one; there are no refractory bricks inside the furnace, only direct water-cooled walls. The amount of steam generated as a by-product is high, approximately 4 t/h, and the steam produced by the jacket is used as a gasifying agent ;
The BGL jacket pressure difference must also be positive; a negative pressure difference will cause the water quality to become acidic. I guess you’ve never done this operation before

Dear, the design allows for both positive and negative values; in practice, a positive pressure difference should be used as much as possible; The negative pressure difference can easily cause blockages in the steam lines of the jacket; the system is equipped with mechanisms to block steam flow, thereby ensuring unobstructed lines and preventing backflow of gas from the washing separator ; The negative pressure difference simply indicates that the jacket is not generating gas or is generating only a small amount of gas ;
There’s a chance to have a proper discussion about it; the design ideas are too elaborate, and there are also points in what you said that aren’t correct
Dear, this is exactly how Tuoke operates in practice; it’s this way that the technical modifications and designs are carried out. I’m not sure what’s wrong – please advise me. Thank you!
