The Yitai Group’s 1.2 million-ton fine chemicals project in Inner Mongolia is located in the southern area of the Duguitala Industrial Park in Hangjin Banner, Ordos. It received approval for its environmental impact assessment in August 2011 (Document No. Neihuan Shen (2011) 240). The total estimated investment for the project is around 19.2 billion yuan. The project utilizes a complete set of high-temperature slurry-bed Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process technologies to produce 1# low-aromatic solvent, 3# low-aromatic solvent, light liquid paraffin, heavy liquid paraffin, cetane number improvers, LPG, sulfur, sulfuric acid, and mixed alcohols.
