The safety valve opens in order to release pressure, and it closes again when the pressure returns to normal. If the manual valve is closed at that moment, then what’s the purpose of the safety valve? Its function is to be able to open on its own as well as to close again
Then several extreme scenarios can be considered: 1. The safety valve fails to return to its seat after activating, but the pressure has been brought under control and remains within acceptable parameters. 2. What if the safety valve becomes ineffective, causing internal leakage or opening automatically during stable operation?
