For the exam on chemical formulas, how do I type in symbols?

In chemical engineering exams, special symbols such as formulas are often encountered; just looking at them gives a headache, and it’s impossible to type them out
In Word, there is an option for inserting formula editors, which should be able to solve your problem
Are there many? Aren’t the special characters just Greek letters? Word has them too
I’ll give it a try, but many of them are too complicated
