There are the following issues with ammonia evaporation from coking wastewater: 1. How to choose the type of tray for the ammonia evaporation tower, the material for the tower body and its internal components, and the material for the overhead condenser. 2. Selection of main material parameters. 3. Ammonia solution concentration control.
The tower body is generally made of stainless steel, while the reducer is made of titanium. The ammonia concentration can reach 20%
1. High-efficiency vertical sieve tray trays can be used for the trays, and 304 stainless steel can be employed for the tower body; most of the internal components can be made of 316L. For the trays at the reflux inlet in the distillation section as well as the recondenser, titanium is the preferred material. 2. The concentration of ammonia water can be controlled at 18-20%. 3. If energy conservation is a concern, a heat pump for ammonia evaporation can be used.
