On February 11, reporters visited the construction site of the Shanxi Tianxing Gasification and Coking Technological Upgrade Project, located in the Liangdu Industrial Park of the Lingshi Economic and Technological Development Zone, where vigorous production activities could be seen everywhere. Amid the roar of machinery, large equipment such as excavators and bulldozers are operating non-stop, with tasks like earth excavation and site backfilling progressing in an orderly manner. Construction workers are moving around the site, doing their best to accelerate the project’s progress. It is understood that the project covers an area of over 730 mu, with a total investment of 2.58 billion yuan. Upon completion of the project, it will be able to produce 1.01 million tons of coke per year, with an annual output value of 4.2 billion yuan and profits and taxes amounting to 600 million yuan; it will also provide employment for over 1,300 people. At the same time, the project aims to develop green and low-carbon enterprises, build green factories, and create green industrial parks by focusing on park-based development, large-scale enterprises, integrated industrial chains, advanced technologies and processes, larger-scale equipment, intelligence, as well as the expansion of hydrogen energy use, thereby promoting circular, low-carbon, and sustainable development in the field of \"coke-oil-hydrogen co-production\". “At present, all the main equipment for the project has been ordered; furnaces No. 1 and No. 2 are ready for construction. The civil engineering foundations for all sections in the chemical production area have been completed, making them ready for installation. The foundation of the coal tower has been poured, and the basement work of the comprehensive office building has been finished. ”Du Caishun, general manager of Shanxi Tianxing Gasification Co., Ltd., said that the coking ovens are planned to be ready for ignition by November this year, and the auxiliary facilities are set to be ready for commissioning. Recently, Lingshi County held a meeting to review the economic performance in the first quarter and to plan key tasks for the upcoming period, aiming to analyze the current economic situation and determine the priorities for the next stage.
