1. Production ceased on April 12 (capacity: 1.5 million tons). Company: Shanxi Jinda Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (Xiaoyi). Capacity: 1.5 million tons per year (2×65-chamber, 6.25-meter coke ovens). Status: Coal loading was stopped on April 12, and a full-scale transformation for ultra-low emissions was initiated; the shutdown is expected to last around 45 days. 2. Enterprises that will cease production in the near future (with a total production capacity of 2.78 million tons): Enterprise 1: Shanxi Pengfei Group (Xiaoyi/Fenyang), with a production capacity of 1.4 million tons per year (using 6.25-meter coke ovens); Enterprise 2: Shanxi Dongyi Coal, Electricity, and Aluminum Group (Xiaoyi), with a production capacity of 1.38 million tons per year (using 6.25-meter coke ovens). Update: Both enterprises have received notices from the Xiaoyi City Ecology and Environment Bureau to cease production in mid-to-late April in order to carry out upgrades aimed at achieving ultra-low emission standards.
