What could be the reasons for insufficient vacuum level after major repairs to the vacuum system pipes?

First, check if there is a problem with the pump’s own pressure, and then try the pipeline. If it’s difficult to measure negative pressure, measure the pipeline under positive pressure instead.

The original poster also mentioned that the vacuum level was affected after the major repair; personally, I would suggest starting by checking the pipe connection points that were modified during the repair work, or those that were altered while preparations for the repair were being made. Personally, I think that when all process parameters remain unchanged, the reason for insufficient vacuum level is a problem with the rigid connections in the pipes; of course, there are other possible reasons as well, and that would depend on what changes were made during your maintenance work
The tower was overhauled, the pump and pipeline systems were replaced, and some of the threaded pipes connected to the tower were discarded.
