Investment estimate for low-temperature methanol washing
Thread Content
As stated in the title, our company needs to install a low-temperature methanol washing unit with a gas flow rate of 60,000 Nm3/hr, at atmospheric pressure and at room temperature. The composition of the feed gas is as follows:Serial Number | Name | Gas Flow Rate (Nm3/h) | Volume Percentage
1 | CO2 | 8,700 | 14.5%
2 | O2 | 120 | 0.2%
3 | CO | 28,800 | 48%
4 | H2 | 22,200 | 37%
5 | N2 | 60 | 0.1%
6 | CH4 | 120 | 0.2%
Total | — | 60,000 | 100%
The H2S content in the feed gas is 1,500 ppm. The requirements for the purified gas are as follows:
1. H2S content: <0.1 ppm
2. CO2 content: <20 ppm
3. Operating pressure for low-temperature methanol washing: >3.5 MPG
We would like to know the investment costs for each of the three units: the compressor, the low-temperature methanol washing unit, and the system for converting acidic gas H2S into sulfur What is the consumption of utility services per unit? Thank you!
