How is the load of a turbine determined?
Amount of steam entering. However, this control system is very complex.
The determination of the turbine load is based on the amount of steam used by the turbine, with comparisons being made under constant steam pressure and temperature conditions.
The unit is a set of equipment; what matters primarily is the load on the compressor it drives. Given constant steam pressure and temperature, the speed and amount of steam used also affect the performance of the turbine
The load of the turbine is determined by: the inlet steam flow rate, the inlet steam temperature, and the outlet steam pressure.
