If there is a leak in the inlet heater of the sulfur conversion unit, and the heater is heated using medium-pressure steam, then this medium-pressure steam will leak into the process gas. The original poster has made an error in describing the process of sulfur recovery; the inlet of Stage 1 is the primary sulfur cooler, while the outlet of Stage 1 must be heated before entering the reactor of Stage 2. To answer your question again, regarding the temperature change after a leak, the pressure at one rotation is at most around 0.02 Mpa with a temperature of about 310°C, while the pressure of medium-pressure steam is roughly 3.8 Mpa with a temperature of about 250°C. In the event of a leak, it is definitely medium-pressure steam that leaks into the reaction exhaust gases. How should the temperature change? Is it obvious now!
