Author/Source: Date: 2018-12-07 Clicks: 207 At 9:00 a.m. on December 4th, the kick-off meeting for the air compressor unit of the 54,000 Nm3/h O2 air separation unit in the 600,000-ton synthetic ammonia project was held in Conference Room No. 1 of Anhui Jinmei Zhongneng Chemical Co., Ltd. The meeting was chaired by Liu Wei, the deputy general manager of Anhui Jinmei Zhongneng Chemical Co., Ltd. Representatives from Hangzhou Hangyang Co., Ltd., Aerospace Changzheng Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd., German Mannesmann Turbo Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Industrial Equipment Installation Company, Suzhou Zhongan Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., as well as the relevant department heads from Zhongneng Company attended this kick-off meeting. During the meeting, Mr. Thaid, the on-site representative of Mantoux (Beijing) Co., Ltd., conducted an on-site inspection of the project construction site. He gave high praise and recognition to the progress made in aspects such as the construction structure at the turbine compression unit installation site, the lifting equipment, and the safety and emergency measures in place. Subsequently, the participants had thorough discussions and confirmations regarding the project construction progress, quality control, and key milestones of this air compressor unit project. The air compressor unit of Sinoenergy Chemical’s 54,000 Nm3/h O2 air separation plant is the largest power equipment in this plant; it consists of a turbine, an air compressor, and a booster. The air compressor units used are multi-axis centrifugal compressors manufactured by German company Mannesmann, and they represent an important technical advancement that enables Sinoenergy Chemical to achieve intelligent upgrades of its industrial equipment. The commissioning of the turbine compression unit in this air separation plant represents an important meeting for the construction of CNPC’s 600,000-ton synthetic ammonia project, and it holds milestone significance for advancing the project schedule. At the same time, the successful holding of this meeting has also sounded the call to action for the 600,000-ton synthetic ammonia project to commence trial operations with feedstock injection and to be completed and put into operation.
