The first gasifier unit of the coal gasification plant for the Shenhua Yulin CTC-1 project, undertaken by Tianchen Company, was successfully lifted into place. On July 4th, thanks to the day-and-night efforts and collective commitment of all the parties involved, the first gasifier unit of this project was successfully lifted in one attempt, marking a new milestone for the project. Guo Guihe, deputy general manager of Tianchen Company, attended the lifting ceremony. To ensure the smooth lifting of the gasifier, the company organized multiple special meetings and coordination sessions with all participating units to discuss and formulate lifting plans and safety protocols, thereby creating favorable conditions for the lifting process. As the key and core equipment of this project, the gasifier plays a vital role in the continuous advancement and improvement of the coal gasification system. The successful lifting of the gasifier has made this project the world’s first gasification unit with a daily coal feeding capacity of 3,000 tons in the field of pressurized water-coal slurry technology using a single nozzle. This project presents numerous challenges in terms of engineering design, factory manufacturing, transportation, and on-site installation. Relying on their technical expertise, engineering experience, as well as a relentless spirit of overcoming difficulties, the people at Tianchen have managed to solve one technical problem after another throughout the project’s implementation. The project is about to enter a peak period for on-site installation. Taking the successful lifting of the gasifier as an opportunity, the project team will strengthen refined project management in order to overcome the remaining challenges and ensure that the project is delivered on schedule.
