Statistics on Projects Resuming Work in Jungeer Banner, Ordos City Author/Source: Huahua Net Coal Chemicals Date: 10-16-2019 Clicks: 14 In 2019, Jungeer Banner in Ordos City identified and submitted 27 key industrial projects with an investment of over 100 million yuan each; of these, 13 were new projects while 14 were ongoing projects. The total investment for these projects amounted to 134.878 billion yuan. It was planned to invest 16.5 billion yuan throughout the year, with 3.889 billion yuan invested in the first half of the year. To date, 16 projects in Zhunqi have resumed operations: 5 new projects have started construction: 1. Jiutai Energy (Ordos) Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 500,000 tons of coal-based ethylene glycol per year ； 2. Underground coal-to-gas pilot project of Inner Mongolia Zhongwei Coal Gasification Technology Co., Ltd ； 3. Inner Mongolia Zhixin Carbon Co., Ltd.’s project for annual production of 300,000 tons of sealed paste ； 4. Assembly and remanufacturing project for 200 excavators and 1,000 wide-body dump trucks by Inner Mongolia Tiechen Engineering Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd ； 5. Jiutai Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd.’s zero-discharge project for high-concentration brine. 9 ongoing projects resume construction: 1. The 2×660MW ultra-supercritical unit project of Inner Mongolia HuiNeng Group Changtan Power Generation Co., Ltd ； 2. Longwanggou Project of Guoyuan Mining Co., Ltd. in Zhungeer Banner: a mine with an annual production capacity of 10 million tons and a coal washing plant with equivalent capacity ； 3. Project for 2×660MW ultra-supercritical units at Inner Mongolia Huaxia Zhujiaping Power Co., Ltd ； 4. Inner Mongolia Jingtai Suancigou Power Plant Phase II 2×660MW Ultra-supercritical Unit Project ； 5. Inner Mongolia Hongran Energy Co., Ltd.’s 2 million-ton annual production coal mine project at Liang’anyao ； 6. HuiNeng Changtan coal washing plant project with an annual production capacity of 20 million tons and a similar scale ； 7. Inner Mongolia Yuhua Ceramics Co., Ltd.’s project for the comprehensive utilization of 100,000 tons of coal gangue per year ； 8. Project to add a spare boiler to the 200,000 tons per year methanol production facility of Ordos Northwest Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd ； 9. The 4 billion Nm3/year coal-to-natural gas project of Inner Mongolia Beikong Jingtai Energy Development Co., Ltd. Construction has begun on the pre-plant areas for another 2 projects. The preliminary procedures for the industrial demonstration project for the comprehensive utilization of 300,000 tons per year of high-alumina fly ash carried out by Guoneng Zhuneng Resource Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. have been completed; preliminary design work is in progress, and construction of the pre-plant areas has started. The related parameters for aluminum electrolysis production have been submitted to the Autonomous Region’s Department of Industry and Information Technology for approval ； The general contract for the construction of Kailuan Inner Mongolia Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 400,000-ton coal-to-ethylene glycol project has been awarded through bidding, and the construction contractors have begun working on site one after another. The evaluation application has been submitted to the Development and Reform Commission of Ordos City for approval, while the cultural relics survey application is with the Autonomous Region’s Department of Cultural Relics awaiting approval.
