On April 3, the deaerator on the boiler island at Inner Mongolia JiuTai New Materials was successfully lifted to the deaeration platform in front of the boiler, completing the lifting of this first large-scale auxiliary equipment on the boiler island in a safe and smooth manner. This paved the way for the rapid progress of subsequent construction work. The horizontal, built-in deaerator lifted this time is the first large auxiliary equipment to be installed on the boiler island; it weighs 33.5 tons and is 15.1 meters long, with a total height of 4.64 meters after installation. To ensure the smooth lifting and installation of the deaerator, the project team of Northwest Electric Power Construction strictly adhered to the requirements for safe and standardized construction, developed a scientific, thorough, and detailed installation plan, and provided the construction workers with comprehensive safety and technical instructions. Taking into comprehensive considerations such as volume, weight, and lifting location, the Northwest Power Construction project team adopted a method involving using a 260-ton truck crane to lower the load vertically from above, thereby completing the lifting process safely and efficiently. The successful lifting of the deaerator this time has laid a solid foundation for achieving the unit’s commissioning target.
