The major inspection, modification, and renovation of Zhongtian Hechuang were successfully completed, achieving a successful first start-up! Author/Source: Yahuahua Coal Chemical Industry Date: 2020-07-20 Clicks: 225 On July 14, the comprehensive inspection and renovation of Trina New Energy Co., Ltd., the largest operational coal chemical integration project in China located in Wushen Banner, was successfully completed. The plant started up successfully on the first attempt, producing qualified polyolefin products. This maintenance campaign is the first major shutdown for maintenance since the commissioning of Zhongtian Hechuang, involving 44 main production units and all utility systems. There are 3,060 maintenance tasks to be carried out, along with 97 projects for equipment upgrading and technical improvements. There are numerous maintenance points across various areas, resulting in significant pressure regarding safety and environmental protection. In particular, the Zhongtian Hechuang MTO unit adopted S-MTO technology from Sinopec for the first time, lacking mature maintenance experience to draw on. Zhongtian Hechuang and all the participating units have implemented grid-based safety management and comprehensive quality control. They have continuously explored maintenance models for the entire coal chemical production process when it is shut down, and have completed all major renovation tasks. As a result, they have achieved the goals of \"zero accidents, zero emissions, and successful operation on the first attempt,\" laying a solid foundation for long-term operation and sustained operational efficiency for the enterprise. Since the beginning of this year, Zhongtian Hechuang has turned challenges into opportunities by seizing the shortage in the market for raw materials used for epidemic prevention. It has optimized its production plans, increased the load on its manufacturing facilities, and taken various measures to drive continuous innovation and improve efficiency. In the first half of the year, the average load of the methanol synthesis units was 104.14%, while that of the olefin MTO units was 103.99%. A total of 603,900 tons of polyolefin products were produced, exceeding the efficiency improvement targets for the first half of the year by 21.4%.
