On June 8, the No. 2 gasifier at Shenhua Ningmei Group’s coal-to-oil facility was successfully started up with coal fed into it in one go, marking the end of the major maintenance phase for Shenhua Ningmei Group’s 4 million tons per year coal indirect liquefaction demonstration project, and signaling that the main processing units have entered full operational mode. It is reported that the coal-to-oil division of Shenhua Ningmei Group has a total of 10,042 tasks to carry out as part of this major maintenance project; so far, 9,830 of these tasks have been completed, giving an overall completion rate of 92.8%. Six of the key projects have been fully completed, and the renovation of the Fischer-Tropsch cycle heat exchange and separation unit, which is a major technical upgrade project, has entered the phase of addressing issues identified through thorough inspections and adjustments; it is now basically ready for operation. Next, the Coal-to-Oil Branch of Shenhua Ningmei Group will approach the commissioning of the facility with a mindset focused on testing, and with a determination to ensure safety, taking every precaution to press the \"start button\" carefully and steadily, so as to achieve a safe and successful commissioning in one go. The goal is to enable the facility to operate at full capacity and with high quality as soon as possible, striving for overall success in terms of stable and efficient production as well as profitable operations. List of key milestones for coal feeding and ignition in the gasifier: June 3: Sampling at all points for LPG production, coal preparation, and transfer to the low-pressure flare was completed successfully; all sampling sheets were handed over to the synthetic oil department. June 4: Conducted airtightness inspection on the conversion system in Area 1; increased pressure in the systems that have not been converted ； Reset the flash side in Gasifier No. 2, prepare to install blind flanges, perform liquid displacement for the three small water systems, as well as in the jacket and water wall. June 5: Loading and unloading at the flash side of Gasifier No. 2, reset of the open-path discharge buffer device, and start of blind plate removal in the gasification unit. The raw coal bin for coal preparation has been filled with coal; the gasification furnace is placed under negative pressure; power is supplied to the moving equipment; and the flare system is ignited and put into operation. June 6: The coal powder collector on Coal Preparation Line 1 and the reverse blowing system for the powder silos were put into operation; the hydraulic oil and lubricating oil systems for the coal mills were also activated. 39 blind flanges in the No. 2 gasifier system were repositioned, 17 pieces of moving equipment were powered on, and the ignition nozzles of the gasifier were reset. Liquid filling has begun in sedimentation tanks No. 1 and No. 2 as well as the circulating water tank. June 7: 48 of the 58 blind flanges on Gasifier No. 2 were reversed in direction ； Of the 58 blind plates, 56 were reversed in direction; the purge analysis of the flash system was successful, and the gas was sent to the flare. A large-scale water circulation system is to be installed for the gasifier. June 8: Coal feeding was successfully completed in Gasifier No. 2.
