Liu Ming, project manager of China Energy Engineering Group Northwest Power Construction Co., Ltd., delivered a statement. Xu Zhenhua, head of the company’s Engineering Management Department, put forward requirements for the construction units involved in the project. He said that due to the impact of the pandemic, the resumption of construction work has been delayed, creating significant pressure as time is limited and tasks are numerous. While focusing on ensuring safe working conditions at the construction sites, all construction units must also prioritize epidemic prevention and control, raise awareness among all employees regarding protective measures, strengthen monitoring and management, and take various actions to ensure that the annual goals are achieved safely and efficiently. Liu Ming, project manager at China Energy Engineering Group Northwest Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., said that the company will actively respond to and strictly implement the relevant directives issued by epidemic prevention and control authorities at all levels. By strengthening management and ensuring effective epidemic prevention measures, the company will strive to deliver high-quality projects, guarantee the smooth progress of the construction work, and aim to complete the projects and put them into operation as soon as possible. Inner Mongolia JiuTai New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in March 2017. The first-phase project with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of ethylene glycol was launched on September 29, 2017; trials were scheduled to begin by the end of 2020, with full operation set to start in 2021. The total investment in the project is 13.3 billion yuan, covering an area of 2,565 mu, with a construction period of 3 years. The project uses Davy Company’s proprietary technology to produce ethylene glycol, with a production capacity of 500,000 tons per year per production line.
