The 4th Conference on Green Development and Application Innovation in the Lignite Industry and National Lignite Trade Fair: To all members and relevant organizations, with the arrival of the 14th Five-Year Plan, high-quality development has become a top priority for the growth of various industries. To further explore the directions for the differentiated utilization of coal in China during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, promote the clean and efficient use of coal, and drive the green development of the semi-coke industry, the \"4th China Conference on Clean and Efficient Coal Utilization – 2020 Conference on Green Development and Application Innovation in China’s Semi-Coke Industry\" along with the \"National Semi-Coke Trade Fair\", jointly organized by the China Coal Processing and Utilization Association and the People’s Government of Shenmu City, Shaanxi Province, will be held from September 10 to 12, 2020, in Shenmu City, Shaanxi Province. The conference will focus on the development strategies for China’s energy, chemical industry, and environmental protection during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, with an emphasis on discussing the directions for the differentiated use of coal and clean production technologies in China during this same period ； “The requirements for the upgrading and high-quality development of China’s semi-coke industry during the 14th and 15th Five-Year Plans, the directions and approaches for expanding the semi-coke industry chain, advanced environmental protection technologies and engineering examples in this industry, as well as the diverse market applications of semi-coke products, including its use as a substitute for raw coal in industries such as steel manufacturing, chemicals, and power generation, as well as in domestic applications. The conference aims to promote the differentiated utilization of coal in China during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and to drive the sustainable development of the semi-coke industry. I.
